Mixed haul // Homeware, makeup, stationary

I went shopping.

The first thing I bought was this folder. It has clear pockets on the inside. It was from Wilkinsons, but unfortunately I can't remember how much it was. It was cheap, around £2/3? I love the mixtures of colours and patterns here, it looks very cute but cool and fun at the same time.

The second thing I bought was also from Wilkinsons, and again it's a folder. But this time it's much thinner and one where you just slot things in, there are no pockets or wallets or clips. This cost 80p, which is a bargain, but the main reason I bought it was because of the 'T'.  I love the colours again and I just think it looks very quirky.

Next I went to Waterstones, and picked up a small notebook from Jim Chapman's new stationary range, James and Friends. It says 'Notes to selfie' which I just think is so cute, It cost £2, I really like the design and I think it will be good to chuck in my bag and take notes on the go.

After this, I headed into Lakeland, and had a mooch around. I love Lakeland, so I wanted to purchase something nice to place on my windowsill. In the sale section, I found this dish. I think it's actually meant to be a soup dish, but I really wanted it because of the lions on the side. I like things with lions on, and it was only £1.50, so I snapped it up.

I decided to put a few perfumes into it, because I had no where else to put them. I think it looks quite cool like this, but if you have any suggestions on what I could put in it please let me know, as I struggled to decide what to store in it. Inside it there is Zoella Lets Spritz, Katy Perry Killer Queen and below both of them is Next Pink Diamonds.

Then I went to Primark to take a look at Gabby (Velvet Gh0st) 's new range. The first thing I bought was this framed quote picture. It says 'Being yourself is the prettiest thing you can be'. When the shelf above my desk goes up, I have decided I am going to place this on it, along with my books and maybe a few pictures. This cost £4 and I think its gorgeous. The choice of colours is lovely, and I think it is a great quote to have above a desk/dressing table, to inspire you and get you motivated for the day.

I also got this cool smoothie cup. I love these kinds of cups, and the one I already have is broken, so when I saw Gabby was bringing one out, I got so excited! It cost £4. The only problem I have with this is that my straw is a bit bent, and it has an indent in it. I was a little annoyed, but I guessed I had just picked up a dud one and not realised. Typical me. But anyhow, I love it.

I then got the cat eye mask which is super soft and so cute! It is furry and so comfortable to wear. It only cost £1.80 which is great. I love this!

That's everything I got from Gabby's range, but whilst I was in Primark I saw this gorgeous photo frame which I thought was £2, but when I took it to the till it was reduced to £1! I was very happy because I was looking for something very similar to this, and this fulfilled my needs. I have already put a photograph in it, this picture was about 12 years ago maybe? I think I was around 3, and I was in the garden with my brother and uncle, along with my old cat Harvey. It has a ribbon you can hang it up with, or a standard bit you can stand it up with.

I then went to Superdrug, and got a few makeup bits. The first thing I got was this cream blush from Miss Sporty. First of all, I love the packaging! It's so girly and sweet. (Trying not to say cute as I have said it about 1000 times in this post.) I haven't tried it yet, but I'm considering doing a review on it once I've tried it out, so let me know if you'd like that.

I then got a few of these BB creams from NYC. I have been wanting to try these for a while. I got them in light and medium, as I kind of have a small tan at the moment, so I thought medium would be good for now and light for the winter. These are originally £3.99 each, but there was an offer on so I got them at £2.49 each.

I then went online and found a mini tester size of Maybeline dream mat mousse. I was looking for the smaller size as I wanted to try it, so this was perfect. It cost £1! I then also picked up this Barry M lip gloss which was also £1!

Now that's everything I bought! I hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Bye for now,
