Cafédirect ( is Britain’s largest, completely Fairtrade hot drinks brand.  It works directly with artisan growers from across the globe to produce award-winning coffee, tea and hot chocolate that is ridiculously good, in taste, quality and at delivering positive change for the farmers that it works with.

It is led by the philosophy that only ridiculously good business can produce ridiculously good coffee. Each product is made with the passion and expertise of Cafédirect’s growers, bringing out exciting tastes and flavours, from bright and complex notes to dark intense aromas: perfect for every occasion.

Cafédirect’s Roast & Ground Single Origin range is a collection of the finest coffee from around the world, with editions produced from single sources in Central and South America and Africa, delivering a variety of intense and smooth flavours.

There are four products in the range: Machu Picchu, Kilimanjaro, Cauca Valley and Tarrazu Reserve.  They hail from Peru, Tanzania, Colombia and Costa Rica respectively.

Machu Picchu is 100% organic and made only with Arabica beans. It is grown at extreme altitudes within the Inca heartland of the Peruvian Andes, close to the sacred site of Machu Picchu, where the best flavours are created and cultivated.

The coffee is perfect for those seeking a more intense flavour, with rich, rounded tasting notes and dark chocolate overtones.

Kilimanjaro uses 100% Arabica beans and is harvested on the fertile volcanic soils of Mount Kilimanjaro. This fruitful earth, which is watered by the melted snow that flows into the mountain streams, boasts bright and complex flavours, with a hint of blackcurrant for sweetness.

Cauca Valley is 100% Arabica and grown and sourced from the Corsurca co-operative in Colombia’s Cauca Valley, which spans three mountain ranges in the Andes.

This luscious fertile landscape produces a medium-bodied coffee with a stunning aroma. It has a smooth and velvety texture with a subtle chocolatey finish.
Tarrazu Reserve is made exclusively from high grown Arabica beans, which have matured slower, creating the smooth flavour that is distinctive to Costa Rican coffee.

It delivers a medium-bodied coffee with honeycomb undertones.

The Cafédirect Roast & Ground Single Origin range is available at an RRP of £3.75 per 227g at Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Tesco.
