Making the most of Spring
It is kinda ironic that the day I have finally been able to write up this post, is the first day it has rained in ages.
The weather has been amazing recently, high temps and sunny days have been what we have seen for the past few weeks. I think it's due to pick up again this weekend, in time for bank holiday, so we shouldn't have to worry about the sunshine disappearing!
I love Spring. It is probably my favourite season. I love that the birds are back out and singing, the air is fresher, the plants are blooming and the blossom is growing. I love the longer days, the crisp but golden evenings and the peace that seems to fill the air. I also love that it involves my birthday (which was last month now) and overall exciting times. I love that everyone seems to be chirpier, just like the birds that are up in the trees, as Summer draws closer.
I used to say I preffered Winter, but really, it is quite miserable. (Excluding Christmas/The build up of course) the dark Novembers and the gloomy January's can't beat a warm Spring day by the lake with a picnic.
I actually did a blog post all about Spring a few years ago that you can see here. I do like that blog post, but looking back it does make me a little sad when I reflect on the memories from the day that was pictured within it.
I also did a blog post about it finally being spring this year, which you can find here.
This post will hopefully just act as a reminder to make the most out of this Spring, before Summer comes upon us before we know it. I am so looking forward to this summer, but I am really trying not to wish the time away. Let's be present and love the here and now. Let's make the most of Spring.
Bye for now,
